During your appointment, our team will take a set of x-rays to provide a complete view of your mouth, from the roots of your teeth to your jawbones. Next, a periodontal exam will evaluate your gum health and screen for periodontitis and gum recessions. If your gums have no deep pockets or swelling, our team will continue with a gentle, thorough preventive cleaning. If needed, Dr. Cavazos will discuss with you any further restorative or cosmetic treatments needed to reach your smile goals.
